Retro Squares Dress and Skirt~

This funky squares satiny fabric has been sitting in my stash for a
long time. I really love the insipiration that finally hit
when I created this set. The skirt is made of 4 panels, 2 of
the squares fabric, the other 2 panels are of a complimenting peachy
satin fabric. The skirt is really comfy, and great for spring
and summer! It could be worn with a petticoat underneath for
winter too, that would give it fullness and warmth. (Scroll
down for petticoat info. )
The skirt has a drawstring closure, with a hemp tie. Its such
a cute skirt, that could be worn casually, or dress it up for a
different look.

Waistband opens to approx 50" and will cinch down comfortably for a
smaller size.
Will be hemmed for buyer.

This skirt is soooo incredible! What a
Labor of Love!!
(Its also a little big for me, made for a larger mama)
This is an A-Line skirt, made from an all natural hemp
muslin. I have appliqued "War is not the answer"
around the bottom of the skirt in RAINBOW colors!!!
WOW~!! What a great statement to make ~ and a
beautiful way to make it!
I have also added a big PEACE pocket made from the colors of the
rainbow. It is made with strips of rainbow colors, stitched
on,
with the edges allowed to fray! I really love this look...I
have
put fray check on the seams. This is such an eye catcher, grab it up
before its
gone!!!
The top of the skirt ties with a drawstring waist.

Will best fit (L-XL-XXL)
Drawstring waist opens to 66 inches max.

cargo skirt, size 10. This skirt fits higher up on the waist,

front pockets and 2 back pockets! I have appliqued a vintage
brown bird in linen fabric onto the front.
This skirt is super cute and great with tights for the winter, and bare
in the summer!

This is a really fun fall skirt, for a great
price! I took a
barely worn A-line jean skirt and appliqued a rainbow on the front, and
2 pockets on the back. The skirt is approximately knee
length, and has a medium-high waist, so it will best fit a gal with
some hips.
My friend Mary has the perfect figure for it, as you can see in the
photos (click on image to left for more pics), but its a little small
on her.
The waistband says size 8.
Measurements:
Length: hemmed at 21.5 inches long (knee length)

This Skirt was definately a Labor of LOVE ~ it
took me about 2 weeks to finish! But the end result was
defiantely worth it!!!
This skirt is made up of random patchwork in cool tones, mostly blues,
purples, greens, and more!! I used all different sorts of
fabric, including hand dyed hemp, corduroy, cotton, calico, silk, and
more!
The top of the skirt ties with a drawstring waistband & its
more fitted on the top, to eliminate bunch. The entire bottom
of the skirt is a big random patchwork ruffle! I love the fit
of this skirt!! The ruffle allows for comfy walking, and
great for dancing ~!!
The skirt has a HEmp Plum pocket with 3 stars appliqued onto the
pocket. I have also appliqued 2 funky flowers along the
bottom ruffle as well.
This is such a beautiful piece of art, grab it before its gone!!!n

This skirt is a lot of fun and great for the
holiday season, you can wear it with tights, or boots too!
There is a little snow on this skirt in the photo :) It was
quite a snowy day here!
The skirt is pencil style, but a little fuller for more comfort moving
or dancing! The skirt has a drawstring waist, which ties in
back leaving a smooth front of the skirt. I love this look!
