Hemp Pageboy Hat

This will be a great hat to shield you from the summer sun that is just around the corner. 
Be sun smart and protect your face and eyes from harmful rays that you are sure to be 
exposed to at the shows and festies this year.

I used a beautiful 5.7 oz hemp organic cotton blend immersion dyed muslin that I obtained from the talented Jay at Noonday Textiles. This fabric is thick enough to hold a decent shape as a hat, but it will breathe well in the summer heat. I embellished it with shell buttons and decorative stitching.
I added elastic to the back so it is suitable for more than one size. I have over edge stitched all raw edges for added durability. Due to the shell button embellishment, I would not recommend machine washing this hat. It is possible that it would be just fine, but I would not recommend chancing it. Hand wash. Hang to dry.

Hemp Pageboy Hat

The hand dye work in this fabric is amazing! It almost looks like rhyolite, a type of jasper. Dark earthy reds and shades of brown compliment one another well. This will be a great hat to shield you from the summer sun that is just around the corner. I used a beautiful 5.7 oz hemp organic cotton blend immersion dyed muslin that I obtained from the talented Jay at Noonday Textiles. This fabric is thick enough to hold a decent shape as a hat, but it will breathe well in the summer heat. I added a branch appliqué to the bill. The appliqué is heat bonded, stabilized and all threads are pulled through to the back and tied off by hand so they won't go anywhere.
I added elastic to the back so it is suitable for more than one size. I have over edge stitched all raw edges for added durability. This hat is machine washable. Wash in cold water on gentle or hand wash cycle, removing promptly. Hang to dry. Iron inside out if necessary.

Brown Fleece Flower Hat

I used a brown fleece that is so soft and warm, this hat could get you through a mild winter!!

I embellished it with glass leaf beads in gold and amber formed into a flower shape hand sewn onto the bill of the hat. Due to the flower embellishment, I would not recommend machine washing this hat. It is possible that it would be just fine, but I would not recommend chancing it. Fleece lets go of anything you get on it so easily, it shouldn't be a big deal to spot wash it. Hang to dry.

Black Fleece Rasta Colors Peace Sign Hat

I used a black fleece that is so soft and warm, this hat could get you through a mild winter!!

I embellished it with seed beads sewn on in three different colors, red, green and yellow formed into a peace sign. Due to the peace sign embellishment, I would not recommend machine washing this hat. It is possible that it would be just fine, but I would not recommend chancing it. Fleece lets go of anything you get on it so easily, it shouldn't be a big deal to spot wash it. Hang to dry.

Purple Fleece Butterfly Hat

 I used a purple tie dye look fleece that seriously, when you just look, appears similar to felted wool. The big difference is that it FEELS like fleece. It's so soft, so warm, this hat could get you through a mild winter!!

I embellished it with a purple butterfly with a ready made embroidered pink and purple butterfly. Due to the butterfly, I would not recommend machine washing this hat. It is possible that it would be just fine, but I would not recommend chancing it. Fleece lets go of anything you get on it so easily, it shouldn't be a big deal to spot wash it. Hang to dry.

*note that I have a pretty small head and this hat is not pinned to be smaller. It is loose on me but still looks great.

Green Fleece Butterfly Hat
